On May 18th and 19th from 10 am until 4 pm, the Women’s Club of Sugarloaf Country Club Charities, Inc. is hosting its Fourth Annual Leisure Living Tour. This year's Leisure Living Tour includes many new features. In addition to showcasing the outdoor living spaces and indoor terrace levels of four beautiful homes within the community. In addition, the Tour has added a boat show at the TPC Sugarloaf Country Club featuring ski boats, personal watercraft, and other aquatic equipment from several local marine retailers. Tara Dillard , the award-winning residental landscape designer, garden book author and national and international speaker who has appeared on HGTV, CBS, and NBC and a frequent guest speaker on the Walter Reeves radio show, is the Tour's Honorary Chairperson and will speak at 12 noon and 3 pm each day about landscape design and ideas for your own backyard.
Each home will be decorated with a festive party theme and will feature food and drinks donated by local vendors. Celebrate with us at our Backyard Wedding Reception, featuring gorgeous wedding attire, beautiful table settings and delicious food selections. Spend some time relaxing at an outdoor spa with seated massages, hand treatments, yoga demonstrations, and refreshing fruit smoothies. Put on your Cinco de Mayo party shoes for a Mexican Fiesta serving gormuet Mexican appetizers and drinks, and enjoy being transported to a New Orleans Mardi Gras Cafe' with yummy jambalaya and New Orleans style drinks. Party food provided by Pure Taqueria of Duluth, Lifetime Fitness, Boudreaux's Cafe Acadiana and Whole Foods.
Don't forget to stop at the Boat Show where, along with the boats and other aquatic equipment, outdoor cooking demonstrations will be held to futher inspire your backyard get-togethers. Featured boat vendors include Park Marine, Marine Max and Gainesville Marina & Boat Sales.
The Sugarloaf Leisure Living Tour is held each year to raise money for four very worthy local charities selected by the Women’s Club. This year all of the proceeds from the Tour will go to benefit the Foster Children’s Foundation, Inc., Mothers And Daughters Against Cancer (MADAC), Rainbow Village, Inc., and Spectrum Autism Support Group, Inc.
Tickets are $20 apiece and can be purchased online by clicking on the ticket/directions tab to the left or at the entrance gate on Sugarloaf Parkway on the days of event.
